BiographyTrudie Lamb Richmond grew up in Newtown, Bridgeport, and the Schaghticoke Reservation in Kent, Connecticut. She was Connecticut's premier native elder. A member of the Schaghticoke tribe of northwestern Connecticut and a revered storyteller, she educated generations of children and teachers on native history.
