Charles A. Goodwin

Charles Archibald Goodwin (1876-1954) was the son of Rev. Francis Goodwin (1839-1923) and Mary Alsop Jackson Goodwin (1842-1922).

He married Ruth Cheney (1884-1952) in 1912. They had five children: Charles Goodwin, Jonathan Goodwin, Benjamin C. Goodwin, Dorothy Cheney Goodwin, and Nancy Goodwin Dewing.

He served as president of the State Savings Bank, former chairman of the Metropolitan District Commission, and as senior partner of the law firm of Shipman and Goodwin.
