Nathan Cooley Keep
American, 1800 - 1875
He married Susan Prentice Haskell Keep (1811–1868).
He was an anesthesiologist in Boston, and earned his M.D. degree from the Harvard Medical School in 1827. He then opened his own dental practice.
He is noted for developing a process for making porcelain teeth. He was the first Dean of the Harvard Dental School, serving from 1867-1871.
