BiographyCatherine Flanagan, of Hartford, was a state and national organizer for the National Woman’s Party. Before working with the National Woman's Party she was secretary for the Connecticut Woman Suffrage Association (CWSA).
She was arrested picketing the White House for woman suffrage August 1917 and sentenced to 30 days in Occoquan Workhouse in Lorton, Virginia.
