George Foster

George C. Foster was the son of Chauncey S. Foster and Helen E. (Beebe) Foster. On May 16, 1898, he enlisted in the Connecticut National Guard, and mustered June 15, 1898 in the U.S. 2nd Naval Battalion in the Spanish American War. He worked as a clerk and tailor.
