Sarah Elizabeth Dunham

Sarah Elizabeth Dunham was born 21 March 1835 on Shuttle Meadow Farm near New Britain, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Harvey and Julia Ann Cornwall Dunham (b. 1804), and they owned the farm. She married George Loomis in 1864; they had at least one daughter, Carrie Loomis Schober. Sarah and George moved to West Virginia after their marriage. Sarah later attended the Art School of Julius Bush.
