Timothy Keating

Timothy Keating was one of the co-founders of Sidewalk, Inc. (with Bob Gregson and Ann Kieffer). The group produced "Thursday is a Work of Art," a series of public and performance art events that took place in the summers of 1977 and 1978. Keating served as an art consultant for insurance giant Aetna for two years after Sidewalk, Inc. lost its funding in 1979. He left Hartford for Los Angeles in 1983, where he established a career as a production designer on television and movie sets. In 2004, he co-founded the Los Angeles Downtown Arts District Space.
