Benjamin F. TurnerAmerican, 1860 - 1913

Benjamin Franklin Turner (17 March 1860 - 17 April 1913) was born in Middletown, Conn. In 1908, he represented his district, Middletown, in the State Senate. He was the proprietor of a large grocery and provision house which he successfully ran until his death. He married Jennie Stevens of Killingworth on 28 November 1888. They had at least four children: Mrs. Hiram Evans, Mrs. Dayton Baldwin, Franklin G. Turner, and Nelson B. Turner. He held several positions in the Connecticut Masonic groups.
