William H. Habicht

BiographyHe was the son of Frank Habicht and Winifred Morley and was born February 10, 1919 in Buchanan, Michigan. He graduated from Cornell in 1940 as a mechanical engineer where he enrolled in the Army Officer Training Porgram and graduted a 2nd Lieutenant in Army Ordnance. He worked for Hamilton Standard as a test engineer, as a technical representative for the USA aircraft manufacturer's association, and assisted in the development of the company from a "propellers only" company into a diversified supplier of aerospace systems. in 1953 he married Janice Esther Barker of East Hartford, Conn.
