Thomas Joseph Dodd

American, 1907 - 1971
BiographyDodd was born in Norwich, Connecticut. He graduated from Providence College in 1930 with a degree in philosophy, and from Yale Law School in 1933, worked for the FBI and as a special agent for the U.S. Attorney General. He served as a U.S. Representative, 1953-1957, and Senator, 1959-1971. Dodd is perhaps best known as a prosecutor during the Nuremberg trials after World War II.
