BiographyMartha H. Jewett was born in Middlefield, Connecticut, the daughter of Spofford S. Jewett and Abigail Shipman Goodrich. She married Henry Lewis Coe (1839-1916) of New York City on 30 September 1862. They had at least two daughters, Mary Jewett Coe Nicholson (1839-1916) and Florence Coe Lanpher.
She died on 9 April 1921, and is buried in Middlefield Cemetery.
