BiographyHelena Gertrude Waterfall was born on 30 June 1889 in Boston, Massachusetts, the second of ten children born to Helena Hood Waterfall and Harry Waterfall (both born in England). Helena came to Hartford as a young woman and held a variety of jobs, including working in a gift shop at 47 Allyn Street in 1929, working as a private secretary at 750 Main Street, and working as the assistant to the comptroller of a company at 450 Capitol Avenue in 1955. She lived at 47 Willard Avenue in 1929, 911 Asylum Avenue in 1955, at 705 New Britain Avenue in 1965, and at Avery Heights in Hartford in 1967. She died in August 1975 in Dundee, New Jersey.
