Samuel W. Taylor

Samuel W. Taylor was born in Manchester, England on 10 December 1822. He was a photographer in England before coming to the United States, where he first settled in Orange County, New York. He came to Hartford, Connecticut about 1869 and was active as a photographer there until about 1874, when he moved to Sullivan County, New York and bought a farm. He returned to Hartford at the end of his life and died there on 5 August 1900.
