BiographyTwo tintypes from the John S. Craig Collection bear the imprint "Taken by J. L. & H. A. Jordan / Main Street, near State Street / New London, Ct." Connecticut Photographers lists "Jorden Brothers. (George and James)" active from about 1863 to 1866. It is possible, but not certain that James Jordan could be the same person as J. L. Jordan.
