Johnson & Peterson

Oscar W. Johnson and Ernest G. Peterson were photographers in New Britain, Connecticut. They opened a shop at 125 Main Street in 1920 and were still in business at 25 Main Street in 1947. During later years they sold camera supplies as well as continuing to work as professional photographers. The firm name appears as Johnson & Peterson in the New Britain city directories, though the signature on a photograph in the Connecticut Historical Society Collection reads Johnson-Peterson.
