BiographyMary Huntington was born on 25 March 1760 in Norwich, Connecticut, the daughter of Jabez Huntington and Hannah (Williams) Huntington. She married Reverend Joseph Strong on 18 October 1778. The two settled in Norwich where Joseph remained a pastor of the First Church for 56 years. They had at least one child, Henry Strong, who married Eunice Edgerton Huntington. Mary died on 14 May 1840.
Mary was also the half-sister of General Jedediah Huntington, and aunt of Jabez Williams Huntington.
