Nathan Hale

Nathan Hale was born in Westhampton, Massachusetts on August 16, 1784. He attended Williams College and moved to Boston, where he was active as an editor and publisher. He was the nephew of the Revolutionary War hero, Nathan Hale, and the father of Lucretia Peabody Hale, Edward Everett Hale, and Sarah Hale. He died on February 9, 1863.
