DescriptionPlain-woven ash and grass basket shaped like an acorn. The rim is double reinforced, with flat interior and exterior reinforcement. The basket has wrapped ring handles. Decorative wart weaving and walnut (possibly dye) ornament the basket and give it the color and shape of an acorn. The cover (.b), is left a natural color and imitates the top cap of an acorn. Two small ring handles attach to the top of the cover; a very large ring handle is run through the small ones.
