DescriptionBailed work basket made of plain-woven ash. The basket is square, with round rim. The rim is single wrapped and double reinforced, with half-round interior and exterior reinforcement. The basket has a bail handle attached on the interior. The warp splints are medium to wide, and the weft splints are medium width. The base is openwork. There is swabbing on all the warps and on odd wefts in Spanish brown, chrome yellow, and whitewash.
