DescriptionMiniature covered storage basket made of plain-woven (possibly) maple. The basket is square, with a round, flat rim. The rim is single wrapped and has flat interior reinforcement. The warp splints are medium width, and the weft splints are medium to wide. The base is openwork. The basket has unit designs of chains and diagonals, possibly colored with walnut in oil. The cover (.b) is open, with a wrapped ring on top.
