DescriptionThis woman's dress with self-fabric belt is made of green, blue, red, and white striped twill-woven polyester. The stripes are set horizontally on the dress. The dress features a 5 1/4-inch-wide pointed collar, and sleeves which are set smoothly into the armscye and then gathered into 4 1/4-inch-deep cuffs. The dress opens at the center front with four self-covered buttons set on a 16 1/2-inch-long button placket. The top of the placket folds back with the collar, in a manner resembling lapels. Horizontal darts at the bustline provide the fit. There are on-seam pockets at hip-level at both side seams. The dress is lined with white polyester. It has a narrow, self-fabric belt, which would tie around the waist. The dress has a hand-stitched hem.
Two woven tape labels appear inside the back of the neck: "Mollie Parnis Boutique / NEW YORK," and "G. FOX & CO. / The Specialty Shop."
