DescriptionTwo women stand side by side and arm in arm in the interior of a room. They are wearing similar dresses, with flounces, long sleeves, and sashes. Around their necks are medallions in the shape of rosettes with tassels. The woman on the left also wears a snood and holds a handkerchief and a small bouquet of flowers in her right hand. Drapery trimmed with fringe is tied back at the left and right, framing a large window through which trees are visible. A patterned carpet is on the floor.
