DescriptionGreen silk satin slippers, with the toe shaped in a rounded point, and Louis heel. The top of the vamp is decorated at the throatline with an oval ornament of a glass "emerald" set among clear glass "diamonds." The quarters lining is white leather and extends in a narrow strip around the front of the throatline. The vamp is lined with white twill-woven cotton. The sock lining is white leather. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot.
NotesHistorical Notes: These shoes were worn with 1974.6.21a-c (Turkish costume) to a Turkish ball.
