DescriptionThick leather open-tab boots, with boxed round toe and low stacked heel. The boots are laced through seven pairs of metal eyelets with a plaited brown cotton shoestring with plastic (?) tips, backed with a leather tongue. The seaming of the boots is reinforced with double or triple rows of stitching. The welted sole is pegged in the center; the heel is reinforced with metal tacks. The center back seam of the boots is covered with a reinforcing strip of leather. A leather backing also reinforces the eyelet edges. The boots are unlined. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot.
