DescriptionWhite paper flour bag printed with a variety of colored inks. One side of the bag is framed with a blue squiggled line ornamented by alternating yellow dots. Just outside the top of the frame, the bag is printed, "Bleached/ 24 1/2 LBS." Within the frame is a blue and brown tipi with a yellow sun either rising or setting behind it. Above the tipi is the word "PEQUOT". Below the tipi are the words, "FINIST FANCY PASTRY/ FLOUR". Printed below that in a blue box with a squiggled edge is, "GUARANTEED/ Made form highest quality winter wheat. Will give complete satisfaction for all pastry purposes, or money refunded." Below the blue box is printed, "MILLED FOR/ YANTIC GRAIN AND PRODUCTS CO./ NORWICH, CONN."
The reverse side of the bag is printed with several Native American figures and related objects, printed with folding instructions so they can be cut out and used as toys. These figures include a chief, a hunter on horseback with a spear, a buffalo, a woman wrapped in a traditional blanket, a tipi, a baby in a papoose, and a cooking pot. Printed with these figures the bag reads, "INDIAN/ & HIS FAMILY/ THESE CUTOUTS WILL AMUSE/ LITTLE FOLKS FOR HOURS./ Cut/ Out Around Outlines, Then Fold on/ Dotted Lines and Paste Tabs To Back/ Of Figures So They Will Stand./ A MIXTURE OF FLOUR & WATER/ MAKES EXCELLENT PASTE."
