DescriptionDark leather boots, with square toes and one-inch stacked leather heels. The boots are seamed on the sides, across the back above the heel, and across the top of the front panel. The side seams are stitched with an insertion of a narrow strip of leather. The section at the top of the boot front is a shiny dark leather, in contrast to the dull finish of the rest of the boot; it is notched at the top center. Stitched on either side of the boot top, behind the side seam, are woven striped cotton tapes for pulling on the boots. The boot tops are lined with leather for about 4 1/2 inches. The soles are shaped for the right and left foot, with the waist shaped in a pronounced convex curve.
