DescriptionCast pewter ashtray consisting of a round tray with a relatively deep well, and a rim shaped at the outer edge with S-curves and reverse S-curves. The ashtray has a handle that rises high above the tray; the upper portion of the handle is also shaped in an S-curve and a reverse S-curve. The handle is soldered to the underside and edge of the rim. The ashtray is lightly tarnished and has some dirt adhered to the well.
