DescriptionNeedlework picture worked in yellow, cream, dark and medium green, pink, red, light and medium blue silk threads, and silver metallic thread, on a satin-woven, cream-colored silk ground using a satin stitch and other stitches. The picture is rectangular, oriented vertically. It has a cluster of flowers, consisting of one large yellow flower and several smaller blue and pink flowers, joined at the bottom by a silver ribbon. The ground has nail holes at the top and bottom edges.

Stitches: The primary stitch is satin stitch; it also includes encroaching sain, outline, couching, and french knot.

Condition: The ground is in very poor condition, and is broken or shattered at many areas across the top, middle, and lower left corner. The ground has considerable dirt accumulation at the top.
