DescriptionLarge, figured flask made of mold-blown aquamarine glass. The flask has an inverted conical collar at the rim, a cylindrical neck, rounded shoulders and sides, a flattened body, and a flat bottom. On either side of the flask, there is a round raised panel with a raised bust and raised lettering. Both busts are a man in profile facing left. On one side, the man has a strong profile and wears a wig tied at the back. Above this are the raised words, "FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY". On the opposite side, the man has short hair and is wearing a military uniform with epaulets at the shoulder. Above this, inside the panel, are the raised words, "GEN. Z TAYLOR". The bottom of the figured flask has some light scratches and wear. The highest points of the raised decoration on both sides have some wear as well.
