DescriptionBlown aquamarine glass bottle with a wicker cover. The bottle has an inverted conical lip, a gradually widening neck, rounded shoulders, and a cylindrical body. From the neck down, the bottle is covered with a woven wicker cover. To one side of the bottle, a loop of wicker attaches a rectangular paper tag to the wicker cover. The printed portions of the label reads, "LEAVE THIS CARD ON ALL RETURN PACKAGES./ To/ G. F. HEUBLEIN & BRO.,/ 196-200 Trumbull Street, HARTFORD, CONN." After the printed word "To" are the hand-written words, "Mrs. C. B. Gray/ 1 Gal Poland Rye".

The rim, neck, and shoulders of the bottle are covered lightly with droplets and drips of wax. The tag is torn in half and reattached with clear tape; overall, the tag is yellowed and brittle. Some of the wicker at the neck and on the loop is broken.
