DescriptionMold-blown aquamarine glass flask with a collar at the rim, a cylindrical neck, rounded shoulders, straight sides, a flattened body, and a pontil mark on the flat bottom. One side of the flask has the raised words, "E.M.C. OR/ FARRIERS OIL/ C.F. PECK/ ELLSWORTH, CT". One bottom corner of the flask is chipped and missing; this leads to a small crack.
NotesObject Note: In reference to the worlds "FARRIERS OIL" on the side of the bottle, a farrier is a person who puts horseshoes on horses and who cares for their hooves. (Hunt 4/27/2005)
