DescriptionPair of pressed colorless lead glass candlesticks in what is known as the "Petal and Loop" pattern. Each candlestick consists of a pressed hexagonal candle socket with six petals around the rim, above a baluster-shaped stem. This is joined by a wafer of glass to a hollow, separately pressed, dome-shaped base with seven inverted loops, or flutes, around it. There is a chip in the foot of candlestick .1. The candlesticks have wax adhered to the exterior (.1 and .2), on the rim (.1), and on the base (.2).
