DescriptionPair of mold-blown olive-green glass case bottles. Each bottle has an applied ring at the rim, a short narrow neck, horizontal rounded shoulders, tapered squared sides, and a medium kick and a pontil mark on the bottom. There are many small bubbles in the glass, and light scratches at the shoulder and squared edges of each bottle.
Kick: An indentation in the bottom of a drinking glass, bottle, or other glass object.
Pontil mark: A rough place on a blown glass object where the solid metal rod, or pontil, is cracked off the object after final shaping and decoration. Pontil marks can be polished to achieve a smooth surface.
