DescriptionSmall, pressed colorless lead glass dish with a scalloped edge and flared rim, curved sides, and a circular foot. The dish has a smooth to[ surface; a pressed pattern, known as "Argus", is found on the underside of the dish. The Argus pattern is an all-over pattern of rows of impressed ovals. Two concentric rows of small ovals begin in the center of the bottom of the dish, around a plain circle. Three rows of ovals decorate the sides of the dish. All of the ovals are graduated, being smallest on the bottom and expanding in size with each row in succession, all the way to the flared rim. There are many small chips and nicks in the rim of the dish.
