DescriptionBlown olive green glass bottle with an applied triple ring at the rim, an inverted conical neck, a compressed globular base, and a 3 1/2-inch-deep kick and a pontil mark on the bottom. There is a lengthy, curved crack where the neck swells out to the globular portion of the bottle. Additionally, the surface is scratched, and portions of the lower half are corroded and have a light brown, matte surface.

Pontil mark: A rough place on a blown glass object where the solid metal rod, or pontil, is cracked off the object after final shaping and decoration. Pontil marks can be polished to achieve a smooth surface.
