NotesHistorical Note: Harold B. Hubbell, Sr. (1886-1955), of New Rochelle, New York, made this stand from the remains of the pulpit used by his grandfather, Reverend George Albert Hubbell (1824-1903). Reverend Hubbell was a Methodist minister and a pastor at Meriden, Waterbury, Middletown, Birmingham, Bridgeport, and New Haven, Connecticut, and in New York City and Brooklyn, New York.
