DescriptionView looking down a hill towards a cluster of farm buildings, apparently including barns and sheds. Rail fences run horizontally along the slope. A bush with red leaves is in the left foreground. A tree with orange leaves is in the right foreground. Additional buildings are on the hills in the distance.
NotesSubject Note: According to the notes accompanying the watercolor, the drawing shows a view looking west from East Hartford, so presumably the Connecticut River valley occupies the middle ground and the hills in the background are the Metacomet Ridge. (Finlay 6/30/2012)
