DescriptionAmateur snapshots and studio photographs depict infants, boys, girls, women, and men, including mothers and fathers with their children, grandparents, and family pets. Some photographs include baby carriages, a wicker bassinet, a rocking chair, a high chair, canoes, a sailboat, a seesaw, a Christmas tree, a ukele, automobiles, an American flag, a bridge, and a stone wall. Toys include a teddy bear, a doll, a sandbox and pail, a bicycle, a wagon, and a sled. Chidren are shown wearing Pilgrim costumes, party hats, a muff, and bathing suits. One child is reading a book. Some photos include snow and skiers. Some photos were taken at the beach, at least some of them on Fisher's Island. Pets include dogs and cats. Other animals include chickens.
NotesOwner Note: Hamilton Washington Conklin married Angeline Eliza Shephard. Their grandson was William (Billy) Conklin. Hamilton Washington Conklin owned Conklin's Bazaar in Hartford, Connecticut.

Subject Note: Most of the photographs in the album depict William Palmer Conklin, (the son of Hamilton Washington Conklin), his wife Edith Ney, and their children Sarah (Sally) and William.
