DescriptionA man on horseback stops abruptly in front of a four-barred gate. The man wears a top hat, a red coat, breeches, and boots. He holds a riding crop in his right hand. He stands in the stirrups and pulls back on the reins. His horse is rearing. A spotted bull stands behind the gate, looking at the horse and rider. Grass and bushes grow at the left and right. In the background, beyond a cloud of dust, are four additional riders.
