DescriptionPillbox style hat made with a plain-weave, turquoise fabric. The short sides of the crown are decorated with three folds of fabric. There is a half-bow sewn at the back. The top of the hat is flat fabric. The form was probably mass manufactured - a pre-made form of highly stiffened, loosely woven fabric.
The inside is lined with a matching fabric with a dark turquoise grosgrain ribbon for a headband. Two small, yellow plastic combs are stitched one on each side, held in place by short loops of elastic.
