DescriptionDrawings include plans of foundation, first floor, second floor, roof and sections of transverse online A-A, transverse online B-B, longitudinal, end walls, concrete stalls, window frames, doors. Also, elevations of end and second floor heating system. Plans include property line, city sewer, stable for C.N.G., platform, state armory, boiler room, compass, stalls, working space, columns, hay / straw / grain storage, saddle room, work room, dormitory and pitch. Sections of ventilator, box frames, partition, division rail, cement, scuttle and gypsum block. Elevations show a two story, three bays building with flat roof. Windows are twelve over twelve double hung sash and the entrance has paneled doors. Scale for drawings is 1/8" = 1'0", 1/16" = 1'0" and 3/4" =1'0".
NotesHistorical Note: Building was horse stables for Connecticut National Guard which accommodated 44 horses. As of October 2004. building was no longer standing.
