DescriptionOvoid, wide-mouthed stoneware flowerpot with fluted sides, raised decoration at the rim, and a matte light blue glaze. The flowerpot has a flat foot and sides that swell gently, then narrow at the shoulder to form a slightly flared rim. The sides of the flowerpot are fluted, and the wide rim is decorated with a series of raised flowers. The exterior and interior of the flowerpot are covered with a light blue, semi-transparent, matte glaze with darker flecks of blue in the glaze as well. There are six stilt marks on the flowerpot, three on the bottom exterior and three on the bottom interior. There is crazing over all the blue glazed surfaces of the flowerpot. A unknown translucent light brown substance has dripped down one side of the flowerpot.
