DescriptionHeavy, square, grey granite architectural element or vessel with a square, plain rim and sides that slope down to meet the square, flat bottom. All of the edges of the vessel are heavily chipped, and the sides have heavy scratches. There are two gouges in the rim. On one side, to the lower left of a gouge in the rim, is one large and one small gouge in the surface of the stone. Fresh tooled marks are visible around these gouges, suggesting that they were carved intentionally after the original vessel was created. There are rust stains over many of the surfaces of the vessel.
