DescriptionLarge, round, redware milk pan with a flat bottom surface, outwardly angled sides, and a slightly flared rim. The milk pan was once glazed on the interior surfaces with an irregular lead glaze; now there are large portions of missing glaze that reveal the redware below. The exterior of the milk pan was not glazed, but decorated with at least two incised lines. The exterior surface of the milk pan is pitted and irregular, especially on the foot.
