DescriptionLarge, square, plaster tile with relief decoration consisting of a central branch, two large leaves, and a cluster of berries. The plaster has been over-painted with a cream-colored paint, which is now beginning to peel on and near the decorative elements. The paint has cracked and crazed along the flat portions around the raised decoration. The paint drips over the edges of the tile, revealing the white plaster below. The back of the tile is uneven, but bears the inscribed, hand-written words "Hattie Heart Hatheway .../ March 10, '92". There are additional scratches and illegible marks on the back of the tile, which would have appeared or been applied at the time the tile was made.
