DescriptionHeavy, rectangular porcelain bookends with a deep blue glaze. Each bookend, formed in one piece, consists of five equally-sized parts with a widely V-shaped top edge. Between each part is porcelain shaped like an inverted 'V'. The ends of each bookend are decorated with two semi-circular patterns that follow the V-shaped top edge of the bookend. The shape and color of each bookend reflect the Art Deco and streamlined styles popular during the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s.
