DescriptionGroup of six round, white, porcelain saucers with black, transfer-printed enamel and pink luster decoration. The saucers are part of a partial tea service consisting of six teacups, six saucers, and one sugar bowl. Each object in the service is decorated with the same black, transfer-printed scene of a man leaning on a tree and looking down. At his feet, a woman is kneeling and pulling a blanket over a sleeping child. The child is resting on a pile of hay, and there is a wheat field with workers harvesting in the background. Each object in the service has a band of pink luster at the rim.

This group of six saucers follows the pattern described above, with the transfer-printed scene in the center of the saucer surrounded by a band of pink luster at the rim. The saucers are in generally good condition, with a few light overall scratches to the pattern on all the saucers. The luster has not fared as well, although the luster on saucer .7 is in good condition with just a few light scratches. Saucer .12 has significant wear to the luster above the pattern, while saucers .8, .9, .10, and .11 have less wear but a number of scratches on the luster.
