DescriptionSmall, round, earthenware cup plate with a slightly-scalloped rim. The cup plate has a green, transfer-printed border at the rim, consisting of flowers and leaves on a partial field of green. There is a large chip in the rim, revealing the ceramic below and three stilt marks on both the top and bottom of the cup plate. Additionally, there is a short, horizontal crack in the rim.

NotesHistorical Note: According to museum records, this is the last remaining piece of a tea service that was presented to Philander Johnson Beach of Meriden, Connecticut in 1921. The set was given as a wedding gift.
