DescriptionOval hard paste porcelain tray with gilding and overglaze red and green enamels. A handle is formed at each end of the tray by the absence of porcelain in the body of the irregularly-scalloped rim. The center of the tray is white, but is surrounded by a series of four patterns of decoration. The first is a thin and thick line of gilding that outlines the oval shape of the tray. The second is a line of pink flowers with green leaves. Next is a line of flowers in thickly applied gilding. Finally, the rim is outlined in gilding. There has been some minor wear to the gilding at the protruding portions of the rim. There is some build up of dirt on the line of thickly gilded flowers.
