DescriptionSmall, hard paste porcelain teacup and saucer with gilding and hand-painted overglaze enamels in peach, blue, pink, and green. The teacup (.a) is gilded on the inside of the rim, on the handle, and on the three small feet. The outside of the teacup has been painted with a blue ribbon that twists and winds all the way around the teacup, forming a bow at times. Small pink flowers with green leaves are located along the ribbon at various intervals. The ribbon and flowers rest on a field of peach enamel that covers the top two thirds of the outside of the teacup. There is one very small chip on the rim of the teacup.
The saucer (.b) is decorated in a similar manner, with the ribbon and flowers resting on a field of peach enamel that covers the rim.
